My personal opinion with only owning one M&D item, mostly because my children are older is:

M&D remind me of Fisher-Price of yesterday, but with today's safety. I love toys like this that promote learning without a lot of bells and whistles. At 50% the prices are hard to beat for this Christmas or maybe think ahead for birthdays too!
