Buff'd Recommendations
Friday, December 31, 2010 Posted In Minerals Edit This 0 Comments »
This is way past due, but I hope it helps you! Buff'd was so gracious in sending me samples of foundation, finishing powder, eye shadows, liner, blush and bronzer.
I have to say my opinion of the foundation is still the same and I prefer the original which gives nice coverage without being too heavy. I'm a little heavy handed no matter what I know I should do so if you are too than I'd recommend Original.
You can't go with with their bronzers and blushes either. I received Petunia which is a pink in bag, but warmer on skin. A medium-light bronzer, Toast, which works well for light skin too with a light touch and another blush Rosewood is a rosey wood color. lol In the past I tried Bouquet and that is my favorite out of the three. Their descriptions seem quite accurate in case you're looking for something different. I used the illuminating dust, Candlelight as an eye shadow to go with my browns or greens.
Okay what I'm most excited about are the shadows! The Purple family was sent and those went wonderful with my fairer complexion and hazel brown eyes. Those are the first purples that I've really like and I've tried several. I really believe the purples sent to me would go with any complexion and eye color since they don't pull too much red or blue, just neutral. Here's the list of those:
Stormy Liner
Rabid Crease [wish it had a different name ;) ]
Heather Lid
Gracious Highlight
I wish I had a picture, but my husband hasn't hooked my port back up since the move to the basement which makes it a little more difficult for me. Also don't go solely by the product pictures because I know those look off and don't look like they belong together, but they do and I'm picky in that way.
Don't forget today is the last day for 20% full size products!

"We heard your feedback and we've changed our Gift of Savings coupon policy. To best reward you for shopping at Rite Aid, manufacturer coupons will not be subtracted from your total spend amount. Check your accounts within the next 48 hours to see your recalculated balance. We understand you have a choice of pharmacies and thank you for your continued support of Rite Aid."
I think this is fabulous! Rite Aid didn't have to do this, but it's so great they not only heard those that emailed, but listened. Please be sure to thank them especially if you contacted them about your concerns with GOS.

Hot Coupon Mamas: *HOT* Amazon: Grape-Nuts Cereal 4 - 24 oz Boxes $7...: "UPDATE- after clicking on the link below, on the right side you will see where it says 'Amazon.com $8.69' CLICK ON THAT! For some reason whe..."
This is a fabulous price especially if you don't coupon much, but if you do it's still great at least in my area. Not often I see Grape-Nuts go on sale at the same time a coupon is out. If you love this cereal, I know it is a love or hate cereal, but if you do love it you will probably want to go ahead and order it now.

PayBox
I just joined Paybox and got $25 deposited into my account! You can too just by signing up with your email only, no bank information needed at this time. It is similar to paypal. Then get $10 for each referrel up to $20/day. They're going to launch in 2011 so don't delay.
I learned about this from HCW a few weeks ago, signed up today and feel it is legit.

I just had to share this tradition shared by A Thrifty Mom! I know some of you have little ones and might want to incorporate this into your Christmas Celebration. I would if mine were still young. They did love the one Navity I set up under the tree. I remember my now 16yr old lining them all up in a row. It's amazing how careful and respectful the children are.

Grateful Giveaways: Win One of More than 18 Prizes!
Once you follow the above link you will see you can enter up to four times at each of the 12 blogs! I entered just my top 5 choices so far; whew, I'm tired. lol You don't have to enter all the contests or at all the blogs, just do what interests you most.
The easiest way for me to enter quickly was to open all 12 blogs and copy and paste the first answer, hit submit, go to the next blog and repeat, then go back to the first blog and submit answer 2. This way it allows enough time to pass between answers without waiting around and getting a notice to slow down. Also make sure to have at least a three word answer or you'll get a too short comment notice. Hope you have fun and come back and let me know if you've won.

KitchenAid®14 Piece Stainless Steel Cutlery Block Set $35
This is a fabulous price! Amazon gave it good reviews, but their price is over double this one. I would so snag this up I need some new knives and the silver and black is perfect. The only thing for me is my hubby bought me two Warther's knives and I'd have no place to put those. :( Hmmm maybe I need a magnet strip...

Thanks to Rose Knows Coupons and Luv a Bargain for sharing this deal first!

Jasmere

Today I checked out Jasmere because of another blogger and the deal on gourmet olive oils. I signed up for free when I realized how Jasmere works and what they have to offer.
Every day, jasmere features a unique, upscale product or website (designer jeans, gourmet foods, handmade jewelry and much more) and gives you the chance to buy at up to 70% off. The best part? Throughout the day as more people buy, the price keeps going down. No credit cards are charged until the feature ends, and everyone pays the same low price.
Plus a great feature is that you also earn $10 for each new customer that uses your referrel code. Will you please use mine if Jasmere ever interests you? Thank you!
Check out today's sale! A bottle of the Organic Olive Oil or Balsamic vinegar would make a lovely gift too especially for those that love to cook. You pick and choose because the offer is for a voucher to use at the O Olive store.

Unique Teacher Gift Idea

We homeschool and I know many of you do too, but those of you that don't or those of you that do, but take outside classes as well this is such a cute and useful idea that I'm sure most teachers would appreciate. Check out the 12 days of Christmas! Change up the verses or gifts if you like to go with what your teacher/classroom needs. Great inspiration!
